The beauty of this place speaks for itself. Located in a park that provides a nice forest feel walk, Kinkaku-ji is easily within my top 5 temples to visit in Japan.
Covered in glistening gold, this temple stands on its own in a clear reflective body of water. Its clear reflection in the water is what the Golden Pavilion widely known for. SO make sure to snap some nice photos not just of the temple but the reflection too.

Kinkakuji was one of my best attractions in Japan. Kyoto has many pavilions and temples, but the Golden Pavilion was the most enchanting!
